Regional Expeditions

Regional expeditions launched in 2018 as smaller, more intimate opportunities for experiential educators to immerse themselves within a model experiential education program and connect with other experiential educators in the region.

To complement our longer annual winter and summer institutes, our Regional Expeditions provide the opportunity to engage with other local educators for a short deep dive into a model school or experiential education program.

Goals of a Regional Expedition:

  • Connecting educators within a specific region to develop relationships and local networks.
  • Sharing a deep-dive into one school or program’s model for experiential based programs.
  • Creating a space for educators to engage in meaningful conversation and idea sharing to help promote and support valuable experiential education curricula within independent schools.
  • Providing valuable professional development that requires minimal commitment in regards to travel time or cost, by focussing on local participants.

The following 2019-2020 Regional Expeditions are open to ISEEN members! Registration for both opens August 2019 and specific details and information can be found on their individual pages linked below.
